Where to Celebrate New Year’s Eve in Corpus Christi

New Year’s Eve celebrations start as early as 10 a.m. for noon countdowns and continue into the evening with an exciting range of options to ring in 2019. Choices include a bay cruise, glow in the dark dancing, the Tropicoso dance party, and skating. Live music, free sparkling wine at midnight, breakfast tacos — you name it, Corpus Christi has it. Wake up the next morning for two ways to make a splash on the first day of 2019.

NOON YEAR’S PARTY

Museum of Science & History

Make party hats, confetti slime, firework crafts, and stomp rockets. Just before noon, the museum’s T-Rex hosts a countdown to the new year with a giant balloon drop in the Science Center. Balloon drop features prizes and passes. Visit ccmuseum.com for more information.

TOAST ON THE COAST NEW YEAR’S EVE DINNER & CRUISES

Another option is to take a Countdown Cruise aboard the Japonica. Bring your own favorite adult beverages. Cost is $25. Not recommended for children under 12. Early Bird Cruises are 8:30-9:30 p.m. and 10-11 p.m. Countdown Cruise is 11:30 p.m.-12:30 a.m.
