Christmas isn’t officially over in the Coastal Bend until the Boar’s Head & Yule Log Festival, which this year includes performances at 3 p.m., 5 p.m., and 7 p.m. Saturday, January 11, at First Christian Church, 3401 Santa Fe in Corpus Christi.

The pageant is a gift to the community from the church and a way to mark Epiphany, the day Christians believe three kings delivered gifts to Jesus in a manger in Bethlehem. Three Kings Day is officially January 6 and often marked by Twelfth Night services at churches.

First Christian presents three one-hour and high-energy performances incorporating more than 180 people in Renaissance costumes. The presentation recreates a medieval manor house celebrating the holiday, including period music provided by a chorus and orchestra of about 50 people.

The audience sings along to Christmas carols throughout the show.
