Corpus Christi’s The Frame Up Offers Custom Framing Services for Extraordinary Results
Opened by the Benning family in 1971, The Frame Up advertises itself as South Texas’ largest custom frame shop. Customers needing a custom frame can head to The Frame Up for a wide range of custom framing services for photographs, artwork and memorabilia. A showroom is available for visitors to see artwork and frames. On display are framed pieces from artists such as Dalhart Windberg, Robert Summers and Larry Dyke.
Google reviewer Alejandro Gonzalez took his grandfather’s painting The Frame Up and commented online about the experience. “It had a dated fixed frame, but with the help from the knowledgeable staff we were able to pick out a frame that matched perfectly with the decor,” he wrote.
Holly K. took the time to write a five-star review on Yelp, saying, “Great service and quality work! I recently took a map into The Frame Up to have the cheap frame it was in replaced and Rebecca went out of her way to make sure that the finished product was just what I wanted. She even went so far as to print out our company logo and cut the new mat to fit it! We all agree that it looks amazing!”
The Frame Up is located on 5503 S. Staples St. in Corpus Christi. It is open Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Its phone number is 361-991-4967, and customers can search for artists and their artwork on its website.
